Pack-fresh clean. Cards with extremely minimal imperfections, potentially capable of high grades.

Very little whitening on the back, virtually no surface hazing and minimal light holo scratching.

Cards that aren't quite near mint, or have slightly more than light edge wear or holo scratching.

Lightly played cards have surface hazing, holo scratching, and / or whitening on each back edge and corners.

Substantial surface hazing, deep holo scratches, and moderate back whitening are all signs of moderately played cards.

Well-loved cards that are great for binders. HP cards will have significant wear, and will be marked as DMG if there are any creases.
